I'm currently in the process of recession proofing my portfolio. Two of my biggest holdings are BBL and CVX. And we've seen how well oil and basic materials have done.

Today I bought 16 shares of BAXTER for a grand total of $1108.44. Should I have waited for it to go a bit lower? Probably, but as you readers have seen again and again I suck at timing the market.

This will increase my forward 12 month dividend by $33.28.

I also put in Loyal3 order for $40 worth of KO. Capital One is having a special $20 gift for opening up a saving account. It yields .75% which is pretty darn good over what my bank offers.

I'll update my portfolio this weekend. Have a great weekend everybody!
